Paddle & Pick — Kayaking for a Cleaner Community

Path of Joy had the wonderful opportunity on Friday, 24th October 2025 to join a Paddle & Pick kayaking session, organised by Carolina from Urbanwise.London in collaboration with other community organisations. The event took place at the Canalside Activity Centre in Canal Close, Ladbroke Grove, bringing people together for a fun and meaningful day on the water.

Our group learned paddling skills while also taking part in an important environmental activity — cleaning up the local canal. It was inspiring to see everyone working together, caring for nature, and learning more about how small actions can make a big difference in keeping our community spaces clean and beautiful.
