Winter Health Matters — Supporting Families Through Community Care

Winter Health Matters

Path of Joy CIC was proud to support the Winter Health Matters event in collaboration with the Hammersmith & Fulham Family Champion team, helping families across the borough during the colder winter months.

As local residents, directors of Path of Joy CIC, and Family Champion Volunteers, Saida and Munira played an active role in the initiative, supporting families and working closely with partner organisations to strengthen community wellbeing. The event was also featured in a BBC interview, highlighting its positive impact across the borough.

🤝 Community Support Beyond Practical Help

While winter coats were distributed to families in need, the event went beyond material support. Families were welcomed into a safe, inclusive, and caring environment, where they felt heard, respected, and supported.

Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many families expressing gratitude and emphasising the importance of initiatives like this within the local community.
